Darts

Darts, often associated with pub and club teams, were also played by works teams and culminated in the Golden Arrow competition played annually. The Golden Arrow competition was initiated in 1965 when games were played in various venues over many weeks. It ran for more than two decades and was re-introduced in 2007 with a simpler format at one venue, the Miners' Club. It was at one time sponsored by the Burnley Express who also sponsored other competitions. Other cups include the Fallows Cup and the Lonsdale Cup.
