Prince Charles' Visit 1981

On Friday the 29th May 1981 Prince Charles visited Calderstones Hospital, Whalley to commemorate the diamond jubilee of mental health nursing. Prince Charles is patron of the International Year of the disabled. He said that his intention was to see as many residents as possible during his visit.
