On a routine civic visit last Thursday, the Mayor and Mayoress (Alderman and Mrs J H Sutcliffe) were accompanied on a tour of the Prestige factory by Mr Harold Horner (manufacturing director), Mr R J Coghlan (production director) and Mr Cyril Rogerson (factory manager).
Met by Mr Horner, the Mayor and Mayoress were conducted round the factory premises, and saw the various processes of manufacture including cutlery, kitchen and garden tools and the computer room. They were later entertained at a luncheon party at the Keirby Hotel.
