Looking surprisingly lively are these three Burnley Youth Theatre members acting out the closing scene of their 24-hour sponsored play.
"War and Peace" has nothing on Burnley Youth Theatre. The young actors and actresses probably plough through the epic over their breakfast cornflakes if their latest feat is anything to go by. When the curtains went up last Friday evening, it was the start of a mammoth play that went on and on until the following evening. The 24-hour marathon involved 30 youth theatre members, mostly from the senior section, and each one was sponsored. It is hoped the play through the night will have raised more than £200 towards the costs of running the site in Queen's Park Road.
