Maid Marion (Joan Stuttard) tells a story to babes (Lisette Holdsworth and Carol Swift).

The first pantomime to be staged by Sion Sunday School since its old Yorkshire Street days, will be presented on Saturday, 1st January 1972, with further performances on Tuesday and Saturday next. the pantomime is "Babes in the Wood," with script by Norman Powell. The accompanist is Jack Haworth. The scenery is completely new and has been specially painted for this production. With a cast of over fifty young people, and a strong accent on comedy, "Babes in the Wood" should be an attraction for both young and old next week.
