Burnley Cricket Club players re preparing for the season and believe in making an early start. They practise at the Thompson Sports Centre nets on Tuesdays and although the dress of the players is informal there is no doubt about their enthusiasm. Batting is John Hartley and the crouching ring of ready fieldsmen - Neil Mortimor, Paul Killian, Gordon Allison, David Hayhurst, Andrew Foulds and Trevor Pickup.
