Volunteer workers are seen helping to get the new Burnley Pentecostal Church ready for its official opening on August 22nd 1970.
The building is the former Queensgate Methodist Church. For two months Pentecostal Church members have been working hard on renovations. the new church will be known as Queensgate Pentecostal Church and as reported in the Express recently, it is hoped to complete the work by the end of the month.

Update: In 2005 the church moved to the former Gannow Baths on Gannow Lane and became known as the Life Church and in 2014 a new purpose built church was opened on Sycamore Avenue, Burnley.
