Over £70 has been raised from a garden party organised by the youngsters from the four children's homes in Burnley. The money will go towards buying a mini-bus and other items for the Children's department. Held at the Sunnyside home, Colne Road, the event was opened by Burnley's MP, Mr. Dan Jones. The children helped prepare the food served to the 500 guests and they also made the sideshows, games and novelties.
