Details of a massive Town Hall cover up involving £100,000 are slowly emerging. In an effort to avoid the public eye councillors have ordered the entire Town Hall to be put under wraps. The money is being spent in an effort to stop Town Hall rot and no one could accuse the council of not getting the best. Contractors Rennefors Ltd who do a similar job on the Houses of Parliament have been called in. While the Town Hall's problems may be on a smaller scale than Westminster it is still important to protect the public from flying dust and hence the need for large green sheets. The grade 2 listed building is having the rotten fabric of the facade and corbels, supporting the balconies repaired.
