End Of The Line for Railway Bridge (3 of 3)

Oxy-acetylene cutters at work on the steelwork of the bridge on Station Rd. With the closure of Padiham’s railway freght service this month, the bridge in Station Rd is no longer needed. On Wednesday, a dismantling team moved in to take it down, but another bridge alongside it is to be kept in use for Padiham Power Station.
