Royal Visits

There have been various royal visitors to Burnley over the years and the Burnley Express photographers took many images of the visitors and the people who met them at official receptions and who lined the streets to welcome them. The archive holds negatives which start from the Queen's visit in 1968 to the Duke of Gloucester's visit in 1994 and they are gradually being scanned to make them available.
