A “DAY of Excellence” at Primet High School on Saturday added a new dimension to the annual local round of shows and competitions.
The school’s pupils plus any interested outsiders entered various junior, senior and open classes in a wide variety of skills, and there was an interesting variety of work on display for the 250 or so visitors.
The event was opened by the Mayor, Coun. F. R. Melling, who was introduced by headmaster Mr Peter Dixon. Some £45 was raised for the funds of the Primet Association, the school’s equivalent of a PTA.
