Three Burnley girls danced a high-kicking spirited can-can for the Vitry delegation, Mayoral party, and guests at Towneley Hall Society's social evening, "A Night in Montmartre." They were 22-year-old school teacher Mrs. Andrea Powell, nursery teacher Mrs. Barbara Pixton, and office worker Miss Lynne Walters. Lynne is to be married next month.
The girls are assistant dancing teachers at the Joyce Heap School of Dancing and appear with Burnley Light Opera Society. Choreographer for the evening was Joyce Heap.
