The first attempt at establishing a children's drama group in the Fulledge area was described as a great success by the group's organiser, Mr Alan Dickson. The group's first production was a pantomime written by Mr Dickson's wife, Mary, and performed by a group of 30 children at St James's Church, Stoneyholme on Friday, 13th December 1974.

An audience of almost 300 people watched the pantomime, entitled "The Old Woman in the shoe." Mr Dickson is now looking for a suitable venue in the Fulledge area to hold regular drama classes for the group. "We got them interested because they had nothing else to do" said Mr Dickson, "and now we have them interested we want to keep it going and develop it.
