A group of members and guests at the sherry morning, which was attended by about 80 people.
A hut presented to Towneley Junior Naturalists' Club by the Corporation Parks Department needs fittings and equipment, and a sherry morning on Sunday. 28th March 1971, which raised £50 for the club, will be used to fit out the hut. The event was held at the home of Mrs J. Walmsley, of Rowley Hall, secretary of Towneley Hall Society and the junior club.
Each Burnley school is represented by two members, with minimum age for membership being nine years. There are even numbers of boys and girls, who receive help in running the club from teachers.
