In 1962-63 John Dewhurst and Norman Hudson were members of the championship-winning Belvedere first team. Now they captain the B and A teams respectively, which met each other at Holden Road.

The A team, champions of Division Three for the second year, beat the B side 1-0 (Blackburn, penalty) and so prevented their club colleagues from being runners-up.
