The article gave information about members of Burnley Holiday Group who enjoyed a ramble in Littendale on Good Friday, 9th April 1971. The party left Burnley bus station in the early morning, travelling by coach to Kilnsey where the ramblers split into two groups. The party led by Ivy Hodges went from Skirfare Bridge along Moor Top and Old Cote down to Water Gill Wood, while the group led by Fred Wiseman took the river walk to Hawkswick and then to Arncliffe for lunch at the Falcon Hotel. Leaving Arncliffe in sunny weather, the walkers continued along the river to Litton at the head of the dale, and then over Ackerley Moor and Firth Fell and down to Water Gill Wood to meet up with B party. Then they went on to Buckden and the bus home.

No information was included about the trip to Hardcastle Crags.
