Rediffusion's Burnley manager, Mr A. R. Chitty, sits at the front of the line-up of Rediffusion vans and crews.

Television vans converged on a clearance site in Healey Wood on Monday for a grand judging of the best-kept vehicle and crew belonging to the Burnley branch of Rediffusion. Winners of the cash prizes were TV engineer Mr Ronnie Chester, of Wycoller Avenue and network maintenance man Mr Peter Stephenson of Spencer Street, both of Burnley. Altogether 75 vans representing the Burnley area took part.
