A Colne boy with no ambition to earn his living on the professional stage, has been chosen out of 1,000 applicants from all over the country, to take part in a series of plays staged by the National Youth Theatre, at London's Scala Theatre.
Sixteen year old Andrew Bolton who lives at 9 Lancaster St said this week, "It was a very pleasant surprise to hear that I have been chosen. But I have no professional acting ambitions. I want to become and English teacher."
