When landlord Tom Stuttard wants to wish people all the best for the New Year he does it in no mean fashion. That's why Tom threw a party for all the regulars and for anyone who cared to call in to his pub, the Rose and Crown. But Tom and his wife, Emily, also received plenty of good wishes from the regulars, for they were celebrating their 33rd anniversary as mine host.

The party on Tuesday night certainly proved a success and showed how popular Tom and Emily are. The bar soon filled up with people getting in the mood and looking forward to a brighter 1976.
