Michael (7) and sister Margaret Heys (10) keeping a watchful eye on their three lambs.
Well it looks as if spring has finally arrived. No, we're not joking, just unfasten your woollen Balaclava, lift up your umbrella and admire these three new arrivals. The three lambs are Suffolk crosses and belong to Cliviger farmer Mr Edward Heys, of Jack Heys Farm. These three are among 30 born in the last few weeks, more than 150 are still expected so it looks like Mr Heys is going to have his hands full. Let's hope that the weather doesn't deteriorate over the next few weeks, as this is a critical time for the lambs and their mothers.
