This was the scene at Rishton Methodist Church when Burnley FC star Martin Dobson was married to Miss Beatrice Smith, a teacher, of Hawthorne Avenue, Oswaldtwistle. Joining in the celebrations are two footballing colleagues who attended, Burnley’s Wilf Wrigley and Colin Blant who recently left Turf Moor to join Portsmouth.
