Mary Halstead, left, helps Phyll Maudsley choose her, hopefully lucky, tombola number.
Tickets worth £285 has been sold before Greenbrook Methodist Church opened its doors for its autumn fair on Saturday. As soon as the fair was opened by the Rev. Joe Rimmer, crowds packed the hall. For the first time there was a tombola at the fair which proved very popular. In addition to the usual variety of gift items there were pots of home made preserves, and home made cakes.
