Rosehill Junior School started of life with how many of the problems faced by other schools in Burnley(built in 1932)
But it has become so crowded that the district it serves has had to be drastically and progressively reduced have the 300+ children now at Rosehill. Mostly they come from an area bounded by Rosehill, Glen view, Rossendale and Manchester roads. Many classes have more than 40 children but there was a time when classes exceeded 50. Mr EB Ashworth and Miss E M Chester are the head and deputy head.
