Newspaper production past and present was the subject of a talk given by Burnley Express Promotions Manager, Simon Pittard, to the bi-monthly meeting of the Worsthorne Tuesday Club at St. John's, Worsthorne. He illustrated his talk with slides on the old "hot metal" process and the new computerised system. The talk lasted an hour and was followed by a lively discussion, then tea and biscuits.
