International hairstylist Robert Hely, of Glasgow, was guest of the Burnley branch of the National Hairdressers' Federation, when he gave a demonstration of ladies' hairstyling at Brunshaw Youth Club. The demonstration was open to local members of the federation and their assistants. A party of students from Nelson and Colne College of Further Education also attended.

Mr. H. Briggs, a member of the local branch who organised the demonstration, said: "We were very pleased to get Mr. Hely. The cost of these demonstrations is pretty considerable, and but for the expense we would undoubtedly have more."
