Surprise for Dieter King

A SPECIAL Christmas surprise was in store for Dieter King - the brave little eight-year-old boy whose fight against the crippling disease Rheumatoid arthritis has captured the hearts of local people.
For on Saturday he came home to Lord Street Colne, from the Red Cross hospital in Taplow, Berkshire, where he is being treated, to be with his parents over Christmas.
And later when he was visiting his grandmother the surprise was sprung.
He was presented with a television set from the Dieter King fund - to which many Colne people have contributed time, effort and money to help out the little boy and the other children at the hospital - and a £45 cheque from Lord Street School, where he was a pupil.
