Scouts annual cycle scramble

Urged on by some of the competitors, pressing on towards victory.
Despite a poor entry for the Burnley Scouts Annual Cycle Scramble at Heald Wood, there were plenty of thrills and spills. The winner of the junior section was Keith Tranmer of St. Andrews with a time of one minute 38 seconds and the senior section was won by 17 year old Sean Reilley of the 16th Burnley Troop in a time of one minute 46 seconds. The competition was organized by St Andrews Scout Group and besides Cycle Scramble Trophy, two Fountain pens were awarded to the two winners.
