On the road to recovery after breaking his leg at Liverpool three weeks ago is Arthur Bellamy, who was making his name as defensive sweeper when the injury occurred. Under the guidance of BFC physiotherapist Jimmy Holland, Bellamy has been keeping himself in trim- despite a fractured fibula. He spends a period each day on weight training and on this stationary bicycle, and the aim of this is to keep his leg muscles strong. The plaster cast covering the part of his leg affected by the injury will soon be removed. And Arthur has his hopes set on a return to football early in the new year, "The sooner the better" he says.
