St Theodores won the Coldstream Cup at Barden on Wednesday by defeating Burnley Grammar School 2-1 in extra time. A blustering, swirling crossfield wind spoilt the football and caused passes to go astray, but St Theodores were the more forceful side.However, they did not score until the 79th minute when S Bentley netted. The same player had a goal disallowed. In the last minute, the Grammar School equalised. A well taken free kick swerved into St Theodores goalmouth and P Smith scored.In the second half of extra time, Bentley scored the winner for St Theodores. The Grammar School pressed in an effort to force the equaliser, but their defence held firm.
