Choristers from Pendle and Derbyshire were in full voice on Saturday night for a special spring concert in aid of the Burnley and Pendle Hospice.
Marsden Ladies’ Choir, Nelson and Rolls-Royce Male Voice Choir, Derby, took to the stage of Rolls-Royce Social Club, Barnoldswick.
It was not the first time the two musical groups had met, the singers having joined forces before in West Craven and Derby to benefit worthwhile causes.
However, on Saturday their performances were hailed as an overwhelming success. Among the delighted audience at the Music in May concert were the Mayor of Pendle Coun. Frank Clifford,, Mayoress Mrs Carol Riley and chairman of the hospice appeal Mss Muriel.
