THE colourful tale of Sinbad the Sailor is this year’s choice for the pantomime at Woodlands Road Baptist Church, Nelson. “Everything has gone very well, and all those who attended seemed to enjoy it," said church representative Mrs D. Helliwell this week.
The cast of the pantomime is: Sultan, Stephen Royle; Sultana, Pat Duckett; Princess Ramona, Julie Dugdale; Sinbad, Carol Wilmore; Jimbob, Kenneth Wilmore; Dame Poly-Esther, Dennis Royle; Gum Arabic, Leonard Moorhouse; Neptune, David Crewe; Morgon the Gorgon, Craig Wilmore; Zola, Kathleen Cowgill.
Ladies’ chorus: Barbara Birtwistle, Beryl Hodson, Joan Ashworth, Beverley Westall, Joanne Johnstone, Glenys Gorton, Janet Tempest, Nona Flintoff, Dorothy Cook and Cynthia Robinson.
Young people's chorus: Catherine McClymont, Rachel Crossley, Catherine Gorton, Jeanette Wil- more, Lynne Waterworth, Kerrie Johnstone, Rachael Batson, Victoria Gorton, Paula Robinson and Gillian Cook.
