Staff at Fir Grove Hostel in Todmorden Road got their act together to provide the elderly residents with some Christmas cheer. The pantomime Cinderella was performed for around 20 residents with families and friends also invited. There is a Christmas show at Fir Grove every year, but this was the first time staff have done a pantomime. Costumes were hired with money from fund raising efforts of staff. The finale of the show was a selection of carols and Christmas songs and Father Christmas arrived to dish out presents to the residents. A second performance was given for friends and relatives of the staff.
