MEMBERS of Temple Street: Methodist Church proudly present this year’s Pantomime “Aladdin!” The performances start this evening at Nelson Civic Theatre. Written by Colin Pollard and produced by Sheila Wood, the traditional panto involves the usual cast of Aladdin played by Vivienne Thornber, Genie played by Susan Buckle, and Widow Twankey played by Geoffrey Holgate. Behind the scenes staff include Duncan Newman, stage Manager and wardrobe mistress Nellie Walsh. Costumes are made by some of the cast and members of the church. The rest of the cast is as follows: Christopher Leech, Alf Waddington, Ruth Jackson, Tracy Rushton, Susan Metcalfe, David Crewe, Victor Wood, Doris Metcalfe, David Duerden, Michael Pemberton, Lorna Evans, Dale Smith, Graeme Lister, Paul Lister, Joyce Buckle, Tracey Buckle, Ethel Dawson, Nicola Hargreaves, Rosalyn Heney Shirley Holgate.
