The ladies of the Mount Pleasant Church Fireside Circle gave a pantomime in the Sunday school. Entitled "The Old Woman and Her Boot-ique" the "panto," which is in aid of the Ladies' Weekend, is written and produced by Mrs. Anne Dower. Her husband, Edmund, is stage manager. There is a cast of 11, and the church organist, Mr. Jim Clarkson, is the musical director.
