The Boys' and Girls' Brigade panto cast line up for a photo call.
A lot of hard work made Rosegrove Methodists' spring fair and concert a great success, said Mrs. Mary Halstead, church council secretary. Over 300 people came to the fair in the afternoon and there was a full house of 200 for the evening concert. The church Boys' and Girls' Brigades performed excerpts from their recent pantomime "Aladdin" and members of the church operatic society sang songs from their popular show, combined with solos and humorous monologues. The Boys' Brigade also performed the one act play "The Ragged School" and the whole day raised about £200 for the fund dedicated to repairing the deteriorating fabric of the church.
