Parents and relatives gather to watch the pupils. More than 400 parents and relatives flocked to Hargher Clough Junior School on Wednesday and Thursday evenings to see their youngsters in a pantomime. The pantomime, written by the staff and called "The Magic Horse," had a large cast of 10 and 11 year-olds from the school. The staff organise a Christmas panto each year which is presented for the children shortly before Christmas and for the parents in the New Year.
